Living a French Life

Celebrating the art of French style for everyday living

Le Shop | Every Object Has A Story

Curation | a thoughtful approach to adding things to one’s home

I adore old things with a story to tell. Le Shop is my personal, curated collection of vintage European finds. I consider not only the beauty of an object but how it will be used. How does it feel when you hold it? Can I glean something about the maker or previous owner? Does it speak of quality and craftsmanship?

I gravitate toward a neutral color palette and simple French design. I enjoy a rich patina and lots of character. You’ll find vintage linens that become softer with time and use, handmade French copper ware that proudly displays its patina, and the timelessness of mid century design that goes with any decor. I want objects to grow with a person’s style so that for years to come they remain a part of the owner’s story.

Houses become homes once we add ourselves to them. When we organize, edit, and invest in what we love, we create the life we want to unfold within her walls. It’s a very personal process. Yet, a common thread for those who shop my collection is that luxury is often defined as the pleasure of using simple, beautiful things that make ordinary tasks more special. They are passionate about French style and design which looks for a balance between elegant refinement and practical comfort. Clients consider the character of the object, the inspiration behind its origins, and understand that there is always more to tell than what you first might see.

You may not be able to travel to France right now, so let me be your connection to French culture and design.

Please ask questions about size, condition, or origin on anything in Le Shop before you purchase. Vintage and antique items have a wonderful worn, patina look & feel that make them special. I do not sell items that are clearly damaged and I note if there are imperfections or repairs. Items are sold "As Is" meaning as described and photographed. No matter the object, rest assured each item is packed and shipped with extreme care. All you need to do is to select your favorite things and enjoy your vintage one-of-a-kind treasures when they arrive at your door.

Unless otherwise noted, products are shipped from France within 3 business days of payment via Colissmo / La Poste.

It usually takes 2-3 weeks to arrive. Given the global challenges, allow for an extra 2 weeks for shipping.

We accept major credit cards and Paypal.
